Emirates has added another feather in its cap.
The Dubai-based airline has been placed among the top 100 most reputable companies in the world by 2022 Global RepTrak100.
It can boast of being the only company from the Middle East and North Africa region to make it to the list. Its reputation score was 72.7, a statement from Emirates said.
RepTrak compares companies across the world. It analyses perception and sentiment data points from online surveys and ranks firms accordingly. Emirates has topped many global airline ratings.
The airline bagged the first spot in YouGov’s UAE Best Buzz list for 2021. It stood 20th in AirlineRatings.com’s top 20 safest airlines for 2022.
Emirates is also restarting flights to 4 destinations after the ease of restrictions in the countries. The 4 destinations are Bali, Buenos Aires, Rio De Janerio and London. There will be more flights in the future starting with Nigeria and Mauritius. All these will help expand the connectivity and meet the travel demand of the customers.
The airways will start with five weekly flights to Bali from May 1; five weekly flights to London Standsted from August 1 and four weekly flights to Buenos Aires via Rio de Janeiro, connecting South America with the Middle East for ease of business and leisure travel. The flights to the South American destination will start from November 2.
More than 1 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been transported by Emirates SkyCargo. The air cargo carrier achieved the amazing feat in 18 months since the first trial shipment of the doses in October 2020. The vaccines were distributed worldwide.
Emirates SkyCargo transported larger volumes of Covid-19 vaccines from manufacturing origins to destinations, reaching 600 million doses by December 2021.
