Apple teases iPhone 15 Series launch with ‘Wonderlust’ event announcement

Published

on

Apple’s much-anticipated “Wonderlust” event has made headlines as invitations were sent out and the official release date for the iPhone 15 series was disclosed, as reported by Mashable.

Scheduled for September 12, the Cupertino-based tech giant’s next significant hardware unveiling is set to take place. The world’s long-awaited glimpse of the highly anticipated iPhone 15 is on the horizon.

The event promises more than just the iPhone 15’s debut, as a slew of new products and services will be revealed. Marked for 1pm ET, which aligns with 9pm IST for UAE enthusiasts, the event will be a pivotal moment.

Leaks and reports have been buzzing around the predicted iPhone 15 series, revealing notable design changes. A major switch from the lightning port to a USB-C port stands out among these modifications. Yet, it’s worth noting that improved charging speeds might not be in the cards for the iPhone 15 series. Additionally, Apple could offer USB-C connectors in vibrant colors that match the device’s aesthetics.

Expectations are high for the standard iPhone 15 and its counterpart, the iPhone 15 Plus, to possibly adopt Dynamic Island technology in place of the notch, an alteration that would make a significant impact. Moreover, an intriguing possibility is the release of a unique Green hue version of the iPhone 15.

While the rumored release date for the iPhone 15 variants is September 22, Apple will keep us guessing until the September 12 event, where the exact launch date will be officially confirmed.

As the grapevine suggests, the iPhone 15 might hit the market with a starting price of approximately $799, equivalent to around Dh2,934. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be priced at $1,299, or approximately Dh4,771.
