Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan treats fans with unseen pictures, credits mom for baking wedding cake

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 29 (ANI): Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, who recently tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 3, revealed a special detail about their wedding cake. She shared that her mother, Reena Dutta, baked the cake for their Udaipur ceremony.

Ira, on Thursday, took to her Instagram to share pictures from her Udaipur wedding in January. The photos captured her mother, Reena Dutta, and other loved ones baking the wedding cake at the Taj Aravali ResortSpa, Udaipur. The post ended with a picture of the finished cake at the ceremony.

In the caption, Ira shared a funny moment from the wedding, remembering her mother’s question about the cake.

She wrote, “The OG crew Cherise. No one else could have baked our wedding cake. As Popeye was feeding me or after (can’t remember), I look at Mama and she’s mouthing at me, ‘Is it dry?”Ira married her long-time boyfriend Nupur in a traditional Christian wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, after solemnizing their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on January 3.

Several B-town celebs including legendary actor Dharmendra to former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan marked their starry presence at the wedding reception.

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan arrived at the function with her daughter Shweta Bachchan. Veteran actors Rekha and Saira Banu also came to bless the newlyweds.

Speaking of the hosts, Aamir Khan and his family members were all dressed to the nines. Ira’s cousin and actor Imran Khan also marked his presence at the function. However, Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao was not present.

Reportedly, Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir Khan and Ira was living with her father. The duo had an engagement party in November last year. (ANI)

Allu Arjun unveils his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Dubai, calls it a ‘milestone moment’

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 29 (ANI): National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun, who has been busy with the upcoming schedule of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ received an early birthday gift.

The actor’s wax statue was revealed at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Dubai on Thursday.

The statue features Allu Arjun’s iconic ‘Jhukega Nahi Sala’ pose from the blockbuster film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

The actor, who celebrates his birthday on April 8, attended the event in Dubai along with his family.

Allu Arjun took to his Instagram account to share the special moment. He posted a picture posing with his wax statue. He also expressed his gratitude on Instagram stories, calling it a ‘milestone moment.’Meanwhile, on the workfront, Allu Arjun, who played the titular gangster in ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ will now reprise the role in the sequel, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’ The film is set to be released in cinemas on August 15, 2024. Produced by Mythri Movie Makersdirected by Sukumar, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.

Allu also received a National Film Award for his performance in the film.

After the National Film Awards list was announced in August, Allu Arjun took to social media and expressed his gratitude.

“A huge congratulations to all the national award winners across various categories and languages throughout the nation. Your accomplishments are truly commendable.

I would like to express my gratitude for the love and wishes pouring in from all corners of the country. Feeling honored and humbled by it all. Thank you for the love. Humbled,” he wrote. (ANI)

Vikrant Massey plays journalist probing Godhra train carriage burning

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 28 (ANI): After the success and critical acclaim for ’12th Fail’, actor Vikrant Massey is all set to come with his next ‘The Sabarmati Report’.

The makers on Thursday unveiled the film’s teaser.

Taking to Instagram, Vikrant treated fans with the teaser video and captioned it, “An event that shook the nation. Turned into an incident that changed Indian history forever. Presenting the TheSabarmatiReport, in cinemas on 3rd May, 2024.”The teaser of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ offers a glimpse into unknown facts about one of the darkest and more distressing incidents in the country’s political history after a coach of the Sabarmati Express, which was packed with Kar Sevaks, was set on fire.

In the film, Vikrant plays a vernacular journalist Samar Kumar, who teams up with a fellow reporter portrayed by Raashii Khanna, and a senior anchor played by Ridhi Dogra.

They go on to break the news of the Godhra carriage burning, claiming it was not an accident but a deliberate attack on Kar Sevaks.

The film goes on to narrate how they face brickbats and frowns from their seniors as they strive to find evidence to back their accusations.

At the end of the teaser clip, Vikrant says, “Earlier, the makers also released a video as a homage to those who lost their lives in the Godhra train carriage burning incident.

The film is all set to hit theatres on May 3.
