Untimely death of singer KK leaves Bollywood in shock
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, more famously known as just KK, passed away on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest. He was 53.
KK was not feeling well while performing in Kolkata for Nazrul Manch. He went to his hotel soon after his show where he fell ill. He was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Although he was spotted early enough, his career spanning over three decades saw a lot of initial struggle. He was born in Delhi and was also known for his electric live shows.
After singing more than 3,500 jingles, he released his first album Pal in 1999. It had three songs that hit the top charts, but the big breaks in films did arrive despite the occasional chartbuster.
The release of his second album Humsafar eight years later marked his second innings and he never looked back since.

His Instagram page had been sharing updates from his concert in Kolkata.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur expressed shock at his death. “Just can’t believe that our beloved #KK is no more. This really can’t be true. The voice of love has gone. This is heartbreaking.”
Actor Akshay Kumar wrote, “Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti.”
The natural death follows the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala on Sunday leading to double setbacks in India’s music industry.
Young artists such as Ankit Tiwari, who considered KK as his idol over many other contemporaries, also expressed grief on Twitter.
