Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the opening of a new driver training and licensing centre in Al Rowaiyah 3, operated by First Driving Centre. The facility aims to deliver high-quality and convenient services to residents in Al Rowaiyah and neighbouring communities.
With this addition, the total number of RTA-authorised driver licensing centres in Dubai now stands at 28, part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction in line with the emirate’s strategic vision.
Core Services Now Available
The new centre offers a full suite of driver licensing services, including:
- Traffic file registration
- Theoretical and practical driver training
- Knowledge tests
- Issuance of driving licences for light vehicles (manual and automatic) and motorcycles
- Classroom-based theoretical training
Future plans include expanding offerings to cover heavy vehicle, bus, and mechanical equipment licensing.
Built to Modern Standards
Developed in partnership with First Driving Centre, the Al Rowaiyah 3 facility has been designed with modern training standards in mind. From upgraded amenities to a refreshed visual identity, the centre sets a new benchmark for driver training infrastructure in the emirate.
Operating Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7am – 8pm
- Friday: 7am – 12:30pm and 2pm – 8pm
- Saturday: 7am – 8pm
- Sunday: Closed
The launch underscores RTA’s commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery, with a focus on meeting the needs of Dubai’s growing population and urban expansion.
