“Would like to turn my 35-36 films into blockbusters:” Shahid Kapoor on getting Aladdin’s lamp for a day

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 18 (ANI): Shahid Kapoor revealed what he will do if he gets Aladdin’s lamp for a day at the trailer launch event of his upcoming romantic drama ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’.
Makers on Thursday unveiled the much-awaited trailer of the film starring Shahid and Kriti Sanon.
During the event, Shahid was asked what would they like to wish if he get Aladdin’s lamp for a day.
To which Shahid replied, “Agar mujhe ek din ke liye Aladdin Ka chirag mile toh main chahunga maine jo 35-36 filmein ki hai unn sabko main blockbuster bana du. Kyunki past mein jaake kuch nai badal skate, future ko control kar sakte hai kuch had tak but past ko clean up kar denge.”Shahid Kapoor plays a robot scientist who develops feelings and finally marries Kriti’s character, Sifra, a highly intelligent female robot.
The trailer showcased that he eventually fell in love with the robot.
Sharing the video, they wrote, “Get ready to experience the biggest family entertainer of the year!Trailer out now!TeriBaatonMeinAisaUljhaJiya in cinemas this valentine’s week, 9th February 2024!”Recently, makers unveiled the son titled ‘Laal Peeli Akhiyaan’.
Marking Shahid’s return to the dance floor after nearly a decade, the song also portrays the fresh chemistry between Shahid and Kriti.
Taking to Instagram, Shahid treated fans to the full song video.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Shake the whole world today… Cause LaalPeeliAkhiyaan is out now.”Sung by Romy and Tanishk, with lyrics by Neeraj Rajawat, the song is a perfect blend of rhythm and lyrics.
The dance number has been choreographed by Shaik Jani Basha.
The video captured Shahid and Kriti showcasing their impressive dancing skills. He looked dapper in a black shirt that he paired with black pants and shades while Kriti looked stunning in blue saree.
The film ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar have produced it. The film will be out in theatres on February 9 and it also features legendary actor Dharmendra. (ANI)

An interesting and kid-friendly version of the famous Japanese sushi has been a highlight of the cookery workshops at the 15th edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), whose 15th annual edition is running until May 12 in Expo Centre Sharjah.
Armed with rolling pins, over a dozen young chefs set about flattening bread slices after chopping off their crust; then they squirted blobs of cream cheese on each slice and spread it to make the perfect bed for a thin slice of cucumber, sprinkled zaatar to spice up the rendition before rolling and securing it with a toothpick.
Some even cut each rolled slice into smaller pieces to make it a tidy snack.
Aptly named “Divine Sushi Sandwich”, the preparation was truly divine for its nutritious quotient, ease of making and presentation. According to its creator Lamia Msallam, the sandwich made in sushi style is a safe and healthy option for young children.
After four days of sandwich making, a “Mini Sushi Cake” workshop will engage children for the next four days, followed by another new dish with the same focus on healthy eating. The Palestinian chef added that she will use the nori paper used in sushi making for the ‘cake’ but without rolling it like in traditional sushi preparations.
The 15th edition, which runs from May 1-12, has the theme “Once Upon a Hero”. The 12-day action-packed festival for young readers, artists and creatives as well as their families showcases millions of books including latest releases in children’s and Young Adult (YA) literature from across the globe.
SCRF 2024 is also offering the region’s largest platform for cultural and artistic appreciation with theatrical performances, culinary demonstrations, workshops in STEM, social media, music, and several exciting competitions, activities, animation events.
