Dubai Municipality Issues Public Advisory
Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality has launched an awareness campaign titled ‘Your Sacrifice’s Safety Is Our Responsibility’, urging residents not to conduct animal slaughter outside of licensed abattoirs.
Officials warned that using unregulated facilities or performing home slaughtering poses serious risks to health and safety. An official guide has been released, highlighting the benefits of using government-approved slaughterhouses, including:
- Proper sanitation and waste management
- Veterinary inspections before and after slaughter
- Safe handling and distribution of meat
Dubai Municipality encouraged the public to act responsibly by following these guidelines, ensuring a safe and respectful observance of the sacred ritual.
