The UAE is heading into a period of stable and pleasant winter weather, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasting humid mornings with a chance of fog and mist, followed by generally fair to partly cloudy conditions across the country through Friday.
Early mornings are likely to see fog or light mist forming over coastal and inland areas, especially in western regions. Forecasters have warned that visibility may drop at times during the early hours, urging motorists to exercise caution on the roads before conditions gradually improve later in the morning.
As the day progresses, skies will remain mostly clear with occasional light cloud cover, creating comfortable conditions for outdoor activities. Winds will be light to moderate throughout the week, shifting between southeasterly and northeasterly directions at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, and may occasionally reach up to 30 km/h.
Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight, making it a favourable period for marine activities with no major disturbances forecast.
Looking ahead to the end of the week, cloud cover is expected to increase slightly by Friday night, particularly over the islands and western offshore areas. However, no significant weather changes or rain have been indicated at this stage, and overall conditions are expected to remain calm and stable.
Motorists are urged to exercise extra caution while driving late at night and during the early morning hours due to reduced visibility.
