Dubai has taken another big step in its digital transformation journey with the launch of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department’s new Legal Profession System, a fully integrated digital platform designed to make life easier for advocates, legal consultants, and law firms across the emirate.
The platform brings every key service under one roof: Registration, licensing, renewals, professional conduct procedures, and more. Instead of navigating different portals and departments, users can now complete everything through a single, unified window, a model that aligns with Dubai’s push to fast-track the digitisation of government services.
Streamlined, flexible, and connected
According to the Department, the upgraded system cuts down on paperwork, supports login via digital identity, and lets users smoothly switch between the website and mobile app. It’s also connected with other government bodies, which means faster processing and fewer administrative hurdles.
Built around the user
Dr Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Legal Affairs Department, said the initiative puts customer experience front and centre.
“Our priority is to simplify and elevate the user experience by adopting advanced digital solutions that save time, effort, and cost,” he explained.
Boosting efficiency across the legal ecosystem
Dr Belhoul added that automating internal workflows and strengthening cooperation with government partners have significantly improved operational efficiency. The new system, he said, embodies Dubai’s ongoing commitment to world-class public services and a seamless customer journey across the legal sector.
