Dubai is gearing up for a month-long celebration of the UAE’s national spirit as Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, launches the second edition of the National Month campaign.
Running from Flag Day on November 3 to Eid Al Etihad (National Day) on December 2, the campaign will bring together government, semi-government, and private sector partners to celebrate the UAE’s national occasions in ways that reflect the country’s unity, values, and future aspirations.
Announcing the campaign, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, said the month-long programme will be a “powerful demonstration of national solidarity and shared aspirations for the future.”
He added that the return of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign this year will again honour the UAE’s Founding Fathers, whose vision laid the foundations for the country’s remarkable progress.
“National Month is a collective effort to celebrate our national occasions in a coordinated and harmonised way. The campaign’s success will be driven by teamwork, cooperation and unity, principles that have always underpinned our country’s progress,” Sheikh Ahmed said.
Broad community engagement
The initiative will feature diverse national, community, and cultural events, inviting residents and citizens alike to express pride in their national identity.
Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, said this year’s celebrations will build on the strong community participation seen during the first National Month campaign in 2024, which engaged over 200 organisations and reached 2 billion social media impressions.
Creativity at the heart of celebrations
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said this year’s campaign will showcase the values and ideals of the UAE through creative events and activations, reflecting Dubai’s innovative spirit.
Entrepreneurs and SMEs from Brand Dubai’s Proudly from Dubai network will also be part of the festivities, providing them with opportunities to showcase their work at major citywide events and reach a wider audience.
“The National Month campaign is not just a celebration, it’s a platform for collaboration, creativity, and community pride,” Al Suwaidi said.
