Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed an agreement with Al Fardan Exchange, granting the company naming rights for Al Khail Metro Station. As a result, the station will now be called Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station.
This partnership allows Al Fardan Exchange to connect with thousands of daily commuters. The agreement includes advanced technologies and smart solutions that will enhance the commuter experience, making the metro station more interactive and engaging.
New Name Updates Coming Soon
RTA has announced that from April to June 2025, they will update station signs, digital maps, mobile apps, and metro announcements to reflect the new name. Commuters will soon hear “Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station” in audio announcements and see it on public transport apps.
This agreement is expected to benefit both metro passengers and Al Fardan Exchange, offering new experiences and smart solutions within the metro station.
RTA calls upon the metro riders to note this change of name of the station. In the meantime, passengers can request assistance from RTA’s teams at the stations to give further details.
