Dubai International Airport (DXB) will introduce a ticketless, fully digital parking system starting January 22, following a 10-year partnership with toll operator Salik.
The new system will cover 7,400 parking spaces across Terminals 1, 2, 3, and the Cargo Mega Terminal, allowing drivers to enter and exit without tickets.
Parking fees will be automatically deducted via the Salik E-Wallet System, which Salik will integrate, operate, and maintain.
The initiative aims to:
- Improve traffic flow around airport terminals
- Reduce exit queuing
- Increase vehicle throughput
- Deliver a seamless, cashless parking experience
Salik CEO Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad said the partnership supports the company’s strategy to expand beyond tolling into smart and sustainable mobility solutions.
Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths highlighted that with over 4.7 million vehicles in the UAE already linked to Salik, the system offers a familiar and convenient solution while supporting Dubai’s smart city ambitions.
The announcement comes as DXB continues to see record traffic, having welcomed 24.2 million passengers in Q3 2025, the highest quarterly figure in its 65-year history, bringing year-to-date traffic to 70.1 million passengers.
