Parkonic, the UAE’s largest private parking operator, has announced the rollout of Salik-enabled automatic payments at 18 new parking locations starting this week. The integration allows for seamless, ticket-free transactions through users’ Salik accounts.
Users can pay via the Parkonic app, scan a QR code at the site, or simply drive in and out — the parking fee will be automatically deducted from their Salik account if no other payment method is used.
New Locations with Salik Integration
According to Parkonic’s official Instagram account, the 18 newly added locations include:
- Union Coop Nad Al Hamar
- Heera Beach, Sharjah
- Park Islands
- Union Coop Al Twar
- Union Coop Silicon Oasis
- Union Coop Al Qouz
- Union Coop Al Barsha
- Union Coop Mankhool
- Lulu Al Qusais
- Marina Walk
- West Palm Beach
- The Beach JBR
- Opus Tower
- Azure Residence
- Union Coop Umm Suqeim
The system enables drivers to “drive in, park, and go” — with no barriers, paper tickets, or queues. Charges are handled automatically, making parking quicker and more efficient.
Parkonic currently manages over 150 locations across the UAE, including high-traffic areas like Palm Jumeirah, The Museum of the Future, The Beach at JBR, Saadiyat Beach in Abu Dhabi, and Al Qasba in Sharjah.
This development follows Salik’s 2024 agreement with Parkonic to integrate its eWallet system into Parkonic-managed sites — part of a broader push toward smarter mobility solutions in Dubai.
